Killarney Red is a Rocambole garlic that is undoubtedly one of our favourites.
Flavour is outstanding. Strong, spicy, rich, sweet and long lasting. It is scrumptious both raw and cooked.
The bulbs are white with purple splotches. They can grow from 2″ to 3″ in diameter with 8 to 9 cloves.
They are very easy to peel and as a result do not store well. This cultivar should be eaten early in the season for best flavour.
