Tibetan is a Purple Stripe.
It has an excellent flavour; the heat catches up with you. It’s good fresh or cooked and, when prepared properly, has a very high allicin content.
The bulbs are huge and hold from 8 to 10 cloves. The clove skins are deep purple, and the wrappers are prominently striped.
This is a good storing garlic — it stays juicy for a very long time. It will keep up to 7 months if stored properly.
