Photos
The point wasn’t to capture nature as it truly is; instead, we are attempting to find something better than that: something that makes us stare; something that thrills. If you’re interested in some of our photos let us know. We’d love to hear from you.
All the photographs but two were taken with the Nikon D90.
The lenses were one of three: an 11 – 16mm 2.8 Tokina; a 50mm 1.8 Nikon; an 80 – 200mm 2.8 Nikon brick from the 70’s. The asa was always 200; never was a flash used; a circular polarizing filter was used on the two Nikon lenses — using one on the wide angle Tokina would striate the sky like a giffed gradient; and each shot was run through Photoshop for colour, crop, and blemish adjustment.
